چکیده
Aims: The present study aimed to evaluate the expression of cyclin D1 in oral squamous cell carcinoma and find association with different histological grades carcinoma.
Study Design: It is a cross sectional study.
Place Duration Study: Oral samples were collected histopathology laboratory Ziauddin Hospital, North Nazimabad Karachi. Immunohistochemistry was performed multiple disciplinary research University, duration from January 2021 2022.
Methodology: included taking biopsy patients. Patients history other cavity tumors, patients any treatment cancer excluded study. on total 150 using anti antibodies.
Results: A part Expression found be 77.3% cases where as 22.7% did not show D1. statistically significant shown between intensity scoring (p value 0.004). Association labelling index score for showed p (0.003). scores also 0.003).
Conclusion: shows that oncogenic effects by mutations caused can detected immunohistochemistry form its overexpression. overexpression utilize predicting behavior carcinoma.

Cyclin D1 Expression in Patients with Laryngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma
Background & Objective: Laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) is considered to be one of the most common cancers of the head and neck, accounting for roughly 90% of all malignant tumors of the larynx. To have a timely diagnosis for a better and practical therapy, molecular markers have to be investigated. The aim of this study was to determine the expression of Cyclin D1 (CD...
متن کاملAngiogenesis and Tumor-Associated Macrophages in Different Grades of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma, Verrucous Carcinoma and Epithelial Dysplasia via Immunohistochemical Assessment of Expression of CD34 and CD68 Markers
Background:Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the most common malignancy of the oral cavity, which is highly invasive. Verrucous carcinoma (VC) is the low-grade form of SCC. Epithelial dysplasia (ED) also has a malignant potential. This immunohistochemical (IHC) study aimed to assess angiogenesis and the presence of tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) in SCC, VC and ED to determi...
متن کاملImmunohistochemical Evaluation of Fascin in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma
Background and purpose: Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the eighth most common cancer in men and the fifteenth in women. Localized recurrence and metastasis to regional lymph nodes are major problems in these patients. Fascin is a 55- kDa protein from the family of actin-binding proteins that is expressed in cells with membranous bronchial tubes. The aim of this study was to evaluate the expre...

Introduction : The survivin protein, called baculoviral inhibitor of apoptosis repeat-containing 5 or BIRC5is is expressed highly in most human tumours and fetal tissue, but is completely absent in terminally differentiated cells. However , its expression increases in oral squamous cell carcinoma. Aim &objective:Evaluation of expression of Survivin in different grades of oral squamous cell carc...
متن کاملComparing Immunohistochemical Expression of Podoplanin between Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Normal Oral Mucosa
Background and purpose: Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is the sixth most common cancer in the world. Podoplanin is a mucin-like integral membrane glycoprotein that is expressed in the lymphatic endothelial cells but not in the blood vascular endothelial cells. The aim of the present study was to investigate the immunohistochemical expression of podoplanin and evaluating lymphangiogenesis i...
